Top ranked Georgia tennis star, McClain Kessler, shows his “4”. Even when McClain steps onto the court alone he knows that his family and friends are with him. McClain Always Plays 4 Each Other. Leadership is a personal responsibility and tennis is a great sport to demonstrate that. APIVEO is epitomized through relentless competitiveness grounded in respect, sportsmanship, courtesy, integrity and honesty.

APIVEO Makes a Positive Impact in Auburn, Alabama
What are coaches saying about APIVEO?
Auburn, Alabama baseball coach, Jay Conner, recently sent us this comment after implementing APIVEO. Coach Jay has been enthusiastically sharing APIVEO throughout his league. Thanks Coach Jay!
“It’s my absolute pleasure to get everyone on board that I can! In the beginning, I was tempted to keep APIVEO as just our team thing. But after seeing the positive impact on our kids, I wanted to make sure every coach I could reach had the opportunity to use the program with their kids. What you’ve created has helped me to be a real coach and I am grateful for your leadership. As I tell anyone who will listen, I really don’t know much about baseball. But I want to use the skills I do have to serve those around me. APIVEO is helping me to do just that!”

What is Servant Leadership?
At APIVEO we strive to teach kids about character and leadership. We offer resources that help kids understand that leadership comes from and through serving others. The way kids serve others is based each child’s unique gifts and talents. Watch this great segment from NBC’s Dateline program discussing Servant Leadership with the president of the Robert K. Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership. Imagine teaching this to our kids. Join the APIVEO movement and you can do more than just image it! APIVEO™ LESSON EIGHT
Forgiveness
One of the greatest opportunities in leadership is forgiveness.
Forgiveness offers as much to the forgiver as it does the forgiven. In this lesson we emphasize both of these aspects of forgiveness. We begin with a focus on the burden of not forgiving and close with the leadership lesson that trust is built through true forgiveness. It is important that forgiveness is presented as an opportunity and not a tool. Forgiving someone as a means to gain influence is not forgiveness. [Read more…] about APIVEO™ LESSON EIGHT
The Development of Self-Belief
“Psychologists tell us that by the time we reach age two, 50 percent of what we will ever believe about ourselves has been formed; by age six, 60 percent of our self-belief has been established, and by the age of eight, about 80 percent. But by the time we reach the age of fourteen, over 99 percent of us have a well-developed sense of inferiority”.
We can all have a positive impact on the development of a child’s self-belief. Let’s be intentional about it.
